The Bible says it is His will that none should perish but have everlasting life. Therefore Because He so loved the world he gave His only begotten Son. The world is to come to Him through Jesus.

In order for the world to be saved we have to tell someone about Jesus. It is the main purpose for the Church. He tells His disciples that is not for them to know the time or season which the Father has put unto His power. His power is not going to be used to restore a physical kingdom at this time. The power is not to overthrow the government but for the disciples to be a witness unto Him.

He is calling the church to be a witness and has set forth the pattern for Him to save the world through us. We are to distribute peace to the world. We are to introduce the Peace Maker to mankind. The focal point of the Church is the preaching of the Gospel.
